Gower surf school and Swansea surf school ‘Progress surf Academy' offer Gower surfing lessons and classes at Gower surfing beach Llangennith, through their Llangennith surf school and also provide Swansea surfing lessons at Swansea surfing beach Caswell bay through their Caswell surf school in South West Wales.

Open 7 days a week all year around. Gower and Swansea surf school ‘Progress surf Academy’ are based primarily at Llangennith surfing beach Gower and use Caswell surfing beach in Swansea as surfing conditions allow.

Progress surf academy also known as Gower surf school and Swansea surf school is BSA approved Welsh surf school and is approved by the Wales tourist board to take surfing lessons and classes in Gower and Surfing lessons and classes in Swansea in South West Wales. 

Gower surf school and Swansea surf school Progress surf academy are also Approved by city and county of Swansea to provide surfing lessons and classes in Swansea and surfing lessons on Gower south west wales. A private session will never have more than 4 customers in the group at any one time. This means that we can really look in detail at what you are doing and where you could improve. At Progress surfing we really feel like we are giving something back to the sport of surfing that has given us so much surfing pleasure, by helping others to achieve their goals, in what has become the fastest growing water sport in Wales and the U.K.

As well as offering surfing lessons, surf coaching, surfboard hire and surfing equipment hire to all. Progress Surf Academy provides surfing lessons and coaching to organised groups and charities.

This work involves teaching people to surf who might otherwise not get the chance to participate in a water sport or outdoor activity of this kind.  This forms part of our ‘Youth Development and social inclusion scheme'

All of our surf instructors are trained by head instructor, Dan Williams. Dan is a fully qualified swimming teacher, a level 3 BSA surf coach and also holds qualifications in outdoor pursuits and risk management. He has worked as a water sports instructor for over 10 years, has travelled all over the globe on surf trips and is fully committed to helping surfing development through Progress surf in his native, Wales.
