Progress Surf Academy was started by local Gower surfers, who wanted to give something back to Gower surfing the sport which they love so much and the community of Gower. Progress surfing owners and long time friends have been at the hardcore of the welsh surfing scene in Wales since they were children and giving Gower surfing lessons and Swansea surfing lessons here on Gower for the past 5 years.  Running Progress Surfing is more than just a business interest it’s a way of life!

Progress surf Academy have been featured in a number of publications including tourist magazines and the local press.  You will also find articles and reviews written by independent parties across the internet.

 We tend to keep a low profile most of the time, however the level of interest in our business and in surfing has inspired us to provide a comprehensive guide to gower surfing to journalists, members of the press and the general public.

We are usually either taking surf lessons, filling surfing lessons or doing what we love the most actually surfing ourselves in the Gower surf and Swansea surf.  However if you would like to get in touch please do so and we will be happy to help with any questions you might have.

We usually invite members of the press and journalists to take a surfing lesson with us, then come back to us with their feedback.  Come and enjoy the thrill of a surfing lesson with us.  In return we would hope to gain added publicity and exposure through the press, internet or other publications.
